oh my friend, it's not what they take away from you that counts.
it's what you do with what you have left.

dear ollee n bee ~

first things first, i did help get the truck unstuck with the truck last night! with windchills in the minus forties all this week, it isn't good that our plow truck was stuck out in the north forty. after teaching his university class last night, mr k recruited me to drive the water truck to pull out the plow truck. if there is one thing that makes me cringe and get all knotty in the tummy is towing. but! it worked with the first tug and it wasn't long before we were all cozy inside the house again.

i am excited to say that i am just putting the finishing touches on my camera bag so hoping to share the finished product with you tomorrow ~ yay!

the above photo is one i took yesterday with the prompt addict's weekly prompt 'negative spaces' in mind. negative space around a photo can really make the positive space so effective. it can be tricky to make that negative space work well. i peeked about to find some ideas and was inspired by a few samples at digital photography school. The folks at layers magazine said it best ~ what you leave out is just as important as what you leave in.

hmmm ~ when you think about it, in this case, the negative accentuates the positive ~ how about that!

too cool (literally) ~
