how goes your weekend so far?

i love the weekends for cooking and for not cooking, if you know what i mean. the weekend can be perfect for lazy fare, or the perfect time to cook up a storm ~ time to really mess up the kitchen and create something superb!

also, it can be a time to prep for the week ahead. as soon as i saw oatmeal in jars: how to make a week of breakfast in five minutes from the kitchn, i knew it was something to share with you! sounds  perfect for those chilly winter mornings before you head out the door to work ~ a tummy warmer to start your day.

oh my goodness ~ i could dig into everything the kitchn dishes up ~ especially their recipe for this weekend ~ wheat berry salad with blood oranges, feta and red onion vinaigrette. yum.
