i was inspired to create this today

by the posting of this quote

on the mend wall on facebook ...

and by the discussions we've been having at gigi's.

there are so many struggles in the world ...

so many issues fill our minds ...

and tear at our hearts ...

and yes, mother teresa

i believe you are right ...

we need to start

right where we are

person to person.

:

thank you to my niece bee

who's gauze plaster mask also inspired me for this image ...

[  happy birthday for yesterday, sweet pea!  ]

:

go gently, speak kindly

person to person is the way to go. It is not exhausting or overwhelming but is in our path on our way through the day to be kind to someone, to smile. I think sometimes that is all we have the energy to do but we must do it. love your post.

Nothing else really needs to be said ... Mother Teresa said it perfectly and we all need to take heed and do something.

Stunning image with words which truly caught my breath, jumpstarted my soul, and burned forever in my mind.

Bisous,
Melissa

hi sweet melissa!
i felt the same way when i read these words of mother teresa ~ something to carry in our hearts forever, but more importantly to carry out with each other every moment we can ...
we can do it!
love,
pg

Even though we have never met face-to-face, I know that you have one of the biggest and strongest hearts of anyone I know, pg. I think it must be the color of rose gold, and it beats pure and true. Yes, person to person is the way to go.

I hope you can check in with me tomorrow at some point. I'm going to be doing a giveaway of a CD by a remarkable woman whose own life and music are an example of what we've been talking about.

Sending you love and warm thanks,
Gigi

Hi!
I just read your article in Artful Blogging! I was so excited to find another "prairie girl"! I live on the prairie in South Dakota on a cattle ranch and many of my blogs, photos, and art are a celebration of that lifestyle.

Just today I wrote a post about cranes and leadership. . . and then I decided to check out your blog and found this lovely art and Mother Teresa quote about leading...I love providence like that.

Nice to find you~

I'm just checking into your Blog from Artful Blogging magazine. I think your Blog is truly lovely, even though the grey wording is very difficult to read.
