tuning up ...

to play at three weddings ...

the next three weekends!

i play quiet, simple selections ...

mostly celtic ... pretty and romantic ...

my fingers aren't trained for anything too complicated ; )

the most beautiful part about music and performing

is how there is always one person who is truly touched by your playing ...

the feeling they convey is heartwarming and inspiring ...

i love music so ...

every genre ... doesn't matter ... as long as there is a beat!

and i so love when someone shares new music with me ...

: : :

so, now we are going to change the pace a bit here!

i was inspired to post this today by my niece who also loves music so ...

she posted the following on facebook this morning

and i so want to share with you!

{insert} LOVE following charlie winston!

here is what she wrote to accompany the video:

Love the groove of this song. Love the video. Love the lyrics.
Love that it speaks to so many things that immigrants go through
(and that those who work in the field see)...

i hope it puts a spring in your step today ...

some thoughts in your mind ...

the beat goes on ...

xo

thanks bee dee!

i'll be thinking of you while kicking up our heels at the folk fest tomorrow ... *hug*

so glad that you liked the charlie winston tune! you must check out some of his other songs... 'kick the bucket' is a delightful little ditty also with a good message if you pay close attention! 'like a hobo' is a great track too.

My goodness PG ~

What can't you do? Mark my words, one day, we will meet and when we do, I cannot wait to hear your beautiful, simple music ~ nothing will be sweeter to my ears!

Lucky wedding guests to have their ears and souls filled with such melody.

Bisous,
Melissa
