thanking my lucky stars

words leave me to express how grateful i am ... every moment ...

blessings to each and every one giving thanks, celebrating the canadian thanksgiving this weekend ...

if we all reached up and hung a star for those suffering or in darkness ... there would be an entire world giving thanks ~ imagine that!

'lighting the night' by kady macdonald denton, canadian author and illustrator of books for children ... is a greeting card for amnesty international that i framed and have had displayed in our kitchen for years now ...

a reminder of hope for light where there is darkness ...

a reminder to thank my lucky stars ...

Happy Thanksgiving! And that image blew me away...as in, I will be going to Amazon.com to check out her children's books!

Your post are always so heartfelt, yet you are so anonymous. It's an interesting combo that keeps a reader coming back!!

What a gorgeous illustration! I also love the picture of your studio. It looks big and bright and like an awesome space to create. I had to do a double-take because the fabric on the table is what my family room curtains are made out of! Love it!
