i'll rise

but i won't shine ...

this is what 'greeted' me yesterday morning on the dining room table when i got up ...

our son and his girlfriend had gone shopping the night before ... my son bought it, brought it home and placed it strategically so i would get a good morning chuckle! (him and i are always first up in our house) ...

this, of course, is one of the hilarious creations over at AVANTI ... too much fun going on over there ... imagine the staff parties!

have you ever been by yourself or with a friend in the card shop and find yourself in fits of belly laughter? the kind where you can hardly breathe ... let out a snort ... and nearly pee your pants? you know the kind i mean ...

gotta love what these creative folks are doing and how they touch just the right funny bone!

I hope AVANTI doesn't mind that I am sharing ... PHOTO ELEMENTS: copyright STEPHEN GREEN-ARMYTAGE/THOM LANG • CARD copyright AVANTI PRESS, INC., BOX 2656 DETROIT, MI 48231

What a priceless card . Doesnt the look on the roosters "face" says it all. Neat connection between mother and son that he knew how you would react. Wonderful. Belly laughs can do so much for a persons spirit. Have had many and they refresh.

What would we do without those wonderful sons of ours. MY son has a exceptional humour and love of fun and it is our greatest pleasure when he is home. He likes to play lots of tricks though, I swear he is going to give me a heart attack one day soon. I am sure you are very grateful for your fun-loving son.....they are the best kind, it means they are happy!
