5 .... 4 .... i'm outta here! .... 3 .... 2 .... and 1 who seems to have this slight grin on it's face ... early bird may get the worm ... but the last out gets the nest all to himself!
there is no grinning ... more like grimmacing on the little guys face who has made it all the way to the black walnut tree and now wonders what the heck to do ... mommmmmmy!
i thought of pve and her posting yesterday about her daughter 'moving up' ... a new step in life for their family! today was definitely a moving up day for mr and mrs phoebe and their five babes ... wow ~ talk about empty nest!
won't be long til the nest will be full again ...
such are the awes of nature ...
ps. the phoebe's nest annually above a window at our back porch, right beside the door so we always get to watch the whole cycle ... closeup!
